Key Question for Literacy <scp>Co‐Teachers</scp> : What Possibilities Do We Have Together?

Co-teaching offers a unique opportunity space for literacy instruction; however, this is rarely optimized and the result on students' growth often unimpressive. We propose that co-teaching only structural intervention, but it can become powerful pedagogical intervention if teachers approach as an to try out effective practices lead student growth. Studying, through mixed methods, of co-teachers in early elementary, we identified important trends connected concluded shared responsibility was feature highly pairs. Next, interviews, captured nuances how dyads formed working relationships, planned together, communicated, reflected instruction organized resources. From such findings, model change may growth—via positive relationships continual reflection instructional practice. Mirroring co-teachers' approach, provide series reflective guides support other pairs co-teachers. These reading throughout school year continually return essential question of: What do together I cannot alone?
